Illustration Friday: Scale

My submission for IllustrationFriday.com, the topic is "Scale". I had several ideas that came to mind when I first read the word "scale". This seemed to bring a lot of those ideas together. Not only do we have the scale as a device for weighing things but we also have the scale of the universe. A scale that shows us how tiny we might be. A scale that might show us that in such a large universe there are things everywhere that are worried about their weight...even in zero gravity. But then again, in the "grand scale" of things, maybe none of that really matters....

Kitty Smoke

A drawing I did this morning for some friends. One of them has the nickname "Kitty" and they're having a house warming party so I thought I'd use it as another reason to draw psychedelic skull stuff. I'm so selfish, heh heh.
